She’s looking for a lizard. She’s found a few here. It’s her favorite hunting spot. She’s watching a lizard. She finds them here quite often. But never catches them. This fellow is not into reptiles. He hunts pinecones. Apparently he found one.

I took these pictures of this butterfly back on June 30 of this year, 2011. She was laying eggs on the citrus tree leaves. What an elegant creation! Her wings flow like a beautiful fabric in the wind. Time for a change in direction.
I found this feather. It had been implanted in the ground of my backyard. Luigi sniffed it. Then I put it in the house. It is now my lucky feather.
